When I'm not busy - that is, pretty rarely :) - you can find me playing bridge and backgammon. I'm on both Bridge Base Online and FIBS as Julia_H and you're more than welcome to a game any time.

25/8/08: Sam was feeling a little bored at the start of half term and - in the true spirit of picking up things by gawking over people's shoulders, took an interest in me playing bridge. And demanded I teach him. And that I let him play online. With the alternative prospect of a week of "I'm bored", how could I not give in? Day two: after more repetition of "will you play with me" I agreed to partner him in an online tournament. OK, so we come last out of 33, but only by a single IMP - and were it not for a reckless overcall much more reminiscent of student days past by yours truly, it would have been quite a bit better. These little ones of mine never cease to amaze me...
